BETONG: A total of 10 families from five villages here received food aid contributed by HAPM Consultants Sdn Bhd.
HAPM Consultants Sdn Bhd is an independent consulting engineer (ICE) company that monitors the Pan Borneo Highway Package WPC05, namely from Batang Skrang to Sungai Awik project.
According to the company’s project engineer Stephen Jepeng Jikat, the contribution is an initiative under their company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), namely Infaq Jumaat which is a weekly donation programme.
“This week we presented the food aid to 10 families from Kampung Hilir, Kampung Tengah, Kampung Masjid, Kampung Baru Hulu and Kampung Baru Hilir.
“We hope this contribution can cover the daily needs of recipients and their families during this movement control order (MCO) period,” he said when met today.
In this regard, Stephen thanked the village heads for their cooperation and strong support to the company.
At the same time, he also called on all parties to continue to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and practice the new norms in order to stop the spread of the Covid-19.
