SONG: Ten needy people here received donation in the form of basic necessities from the Song district Information Department on Monday (Aug 2).

The donation was presented by its Information officer Joseph Laga through the Info on Wheels (IOW) campaign, which was implemented throughout the movement control order period.

Joseph hoped that the donation will ease the burden of those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

At the same time, he called on members of the public in Song to continue to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the government in order to break the chain of the Covid-19 infection.

Apart from delivering accurate information on the latest Covid-19 development, through the campaign, the department also actively goes down to the ground to remind the rural people to comply with the SOPs and encourage them to register themselves for the vaccination.

IOW is the best approach to deliver information directly to rural communities, who have difficulties obtaining information from social media platforms.
