SIMANGGANG: Eleven applicants under the water tank project had their wish fulfilled by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government.
The water tanks were handed over by Assistant Minister of Community Welfare Datuk Francis Harden Hollis to the successful applicants last Saturday.
“The water tank project is under the Ministry of Utilities channelled through the Resident’s Office.
“In the Sri Aman division, for example, they are given to successful applicants based on certain criteria,” said Harden.
The Simanggang assemblyman also advised the recipients of the water tank project to use the facilities responsibly and not as a way to make profit.
Also present was Sri Aman District Officer, Mohd Ashree Wee.
