MIRI: The ‘United Nations Day Blood Donation’ campaign received tremendous support from 110 donors on Sunday (Oct 18).

The blood donation drive was organised by the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Miri Chapter Blood Donor Recruitment Committee (BDRC) in collaboration with the Lions Club of Miri Mandarin.

“It has been a good weekend for the 66th blood donation drive since the movement control order (MCO) was implemented in March,” said the event’s co-organising chairman Karambir Singh.

At yesterday’s blood donation drive, out of the 140 who registered to donate blood, 110 were successful.

Also present was the event’s co-organising chairlady Mary Yii.

A total of 110 pints of blood were successfully donated.
