BARAM: A total of 111 residents in Long Bedian received their Covid-19 vaccine as part of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme on Tuesday (June 15).

The Sarawak Information Department (JaPen) in Long Lama said the programme was held at Long Bedian multipurpose hall vaccination centre.

“The vaccination process began at 8am. There was an encouraging response from the residents of Long Atip and Long Bedian.

“They have registered themselves through their respective village heads at Long Bedian health clinic and Long Bedian sub-district office,” it said in a statement today (June 16).

It also said that majority of the recipients expressed their gratitude towards the state government for the Covid-19 vaccine.

“The programme went smoothly and in compliance with the standard operating procedures,” JaPen added.
