1,200 inoculated at Dewan Suarah Sri Aman PPV

SIMANGGANG: One thousand 200 people who registered for the vaccination through the Sri Aman District Office received their first dose of the vaccine at the Dewan Suarah, Sri Aman Vaccination Centre (PPV) on Wednesday (June 23).

The recipients expressed appreciation and satisfaction after receiving the vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) in efforts to curb the virus’s spread within the community here.

A couple, Mangku Batang, 63, and Chie Kilat, 64, from Kampung Klauh, were relieved and pleased after receiving their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine.

“We are really glad to receive our jabs and we cannot wait for the second dose injection in July,” Mangku remarked.

Meanwhile, Stanley Naga, Elizaberth Ikeh, Minah Sureng, Incha Luta, and Janet Simon of Kampung Ibol, Sg. Raya, expressed their gratitude for being given the opportunity to take the vaccine in order to protect themselves and create herd immunity in the community.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to receive the vaccine in order to safeguard our family and the surrounding community,” they said.
