KAPIT: A total of 122 pupils from pre-school class to Year Six of SK Nanga Mujong in Pelagus here received stationery and school bags to begin their new school year.

The ‘Back to School’ programme, organised by the Ministry of Primary Industries in collaboration with Kapit Democratic Action Party (DAP) Service Centre, was to reduce the burden of parents.

Among those present at the presentation ceremony were Larry Asap, the special officer to Youth and Sports Deputy Minister, the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) chairwoman Bangi Agas, and DAP Sungai Kapit Branch chairman Teng Mie Heng.
