DALAT: A total of 1,237 recipients of the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) turned up to collect the monetary aid at the Stadium Perpaduan here last Monday.
Minister of Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing, Datuk Fatimah Abdullah presented the aid to the recipients.
At the event, Fatimah advised the recipients to allocate a portion of the monetary aid for their children’s education and also capital for their business.
The Dalat Assemblywoman said should any recipients lost their BR1M voucher, they must report to the State Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) or register on its website.
The closing date of the appeal for BR1M is 31 May, she said.
Also present were Dalat District Officer, Kueh Lei Poh, Dalat District Education Officer, Ahli Chikba, Temenggong Hendi Suhai and Pemanca Albert Kiroh Abau.
