KUCHING: A total of 125 households undergoing quarantine in Kampung Hulu Tambak, Pusa received their food aid supply.
The assistance was distributed by the Batang Lupar parliamentary constituency service centre for the villagers who are affected by the implementation of the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) in the locality from June 2 to 16.
Batang Lupar MP Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim hoped that the assistance would alleviate the difficulties faced by the residents due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the village.
“The residents of the village are urged to always abide by the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that have been set.
“Take care of your health, safety and cleanliness and do not leave the house if there is no need so that the spread of this pandemic can be overcome,” she said on Thursday.
At the same time, Rohani also urged the villagers to undergo a health screening at the Pusa Health Clinic.
The assistance was presented to Kampung Tambak village head Musa Gapor in a brief ceremony on Thursday.
In the meantime, Kampung Tambak village safety and development committee (JKKK) thanked the MP for the contribution.
