MIRI: A total 13 players from Kelab Sukan Billard and Snuker Pelita (KSBSP) with Brunei National Pool development scheme Squad took part in a friendly match on Saturday.

According to vice president of Sarawak Billards and Snooker Sport federation (SBSSF), David Tan the aim of the match was to foster better relation amongst players, getting exposed to skills and techniques sharing and exposure.

He said, KSBSP being the divisional platform for SBSSF to promote cue sports in Miri have been actively organising monthly tournaments attracting players from Sarawak, Sabah, Labuan, Brunei, and West Malaysia.

At the same time, it nurtures new players through their seasonal H2M leagues.

Tan also thanked the State government for their support throughout the years which enable SBSSF to organise international tournaments, state-wide tournaments and sending players to represent Sarawak in national and international tournaments.

Also present during the cue off on Saturday was Councillor Warziedea Ahmad, the Standing Committee for Tourism Development.
