The contributions, amounting to RM150 per recipient, were aimed at easing their financial burdens during the month of Ramadan and helping them in their preparations for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The annual programme, known as ‘Majlis Iftar Darul Hana 2024,’ was organised by the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) at Waterfront Hotel here, last night (Mar 20).

During the event, LCDA Holdings Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Husain also presented the business zakat for 2023, totalling RM1,910,187.26, to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS).

The handover was represented by TBS deputy general manager Bolhassan Iskandar Taibi.

Approximately 500 people, including LCDA employees, community leaders from Kampung Seberang Hilir, department heads, media representatives, and stakeholders involved in the Darul Hana development project, graced the occasion.
