PUTRAJAYA: Some 130 COVID-19 new positive cases and three deaths were reported today, pushing the total number of cases to 2,161 and the cumulative death toll to 26.
Director-General of Health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, who made the announcement, said the 24th person (case 1,056) who succumbed to the disease was a 35-year-old Malaysian man who had a history of travel to Indonesia.
“He was admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital on March 18 and died at 9.30 pm on March 26 (yesterday),” he told a press conference on the COVID-19 daily update. – Bernama
