139 persons receive KGC

MIRI: A total 139 persons in Riam received the Kenyalang Gold Card presented by Transport Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin, who is also Senadin assemblyman on Sunday.

The presentation was held at Riam Secondary School. This was the second batch of KGCs distributed through the Senadin Service Centre.

To date, the centre has distributed 281 KGCs to eligible recipients.

“There are many people who fulfill the requirement but have not applied for the KGC,” said Lee.

He urged those aged 60 years and above, identity card holder ‘K’ or permanent resident in Sarawak to apply for the card.

They can apply at http://kenyalanggold.com and for those not familiar with gadgets, they can come to Senadin DUN Service Centre or Riam sub-branch during office hours, to apply.

KGC holder can get access to the Kenyalang Gold Card’s instant discounts or rebates, other benefits and special offers via iSarawakCare app.
