KUCHING: There are more than 15 locations identified as garbage dumps for the disposal of post-flood rubbish in the Tupong constituency on Monday (Jan 18)
Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman said the locations were identified through an inspection by members of the Kuching North City Commission (DBKU), Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), Trienekens, community leaders and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).
“Roro (roll-on roll-off) bins will be provided in those locations in the near future.
“After this matter is materialised soon, I hope the local community will work together to care for the environment and dispose of rubbish in designated places,” he said in a Facebook post on Tuesday (Jan 19).
