15 needy Muslims receive Raya aid

MUKAH: Mukah Parliament Special Affairs Department (JASA Mukah) and Islamic Charity Combined Organisation (PERTIGA Mukah) gave assistance to 15 needy Muslims, here,  recently.

And the group headed by JASA Mukah Officer Hafizzul Abdul Halim visited a number of houses to distribute food items.

The 15 recipients  were comprised of Asnafs (Muslims qualified for Zakat) from Kampung Tegak and Kampung Penakub Ulu Mukah.

And the programme  implemented under JASA’s Programme Membara Ihya Ramadan also gave financial assistance to  selected needy villagers.

Also in the group were Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Balingian branch women chief Amie Bt Kaliew, JASA Balingian field officer Junaidi Nor, Awangku Mohd Redhafirdaus who represented PERTIGA Mukah, PBB Penakub  sub-branch head Jefri B Musa and Arfidah Bt Akim from Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation.
