KUCHING: In conjunction with the month of Ramadan, Hartalega Holdings Berhad (Hartalega) donated care packages to over 1,600 people in partnership with Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas).

Hartalega workers, affectionately known as Hartanians, distributed care packages containing kurma, face masks, and hand sanitisers to the public at Guthrie Corridor Expressway toll booths, with strict adherence to the standard operating procedure (SOPs).

Chief executive officer of Hartalega, Kuan Mun Leong stated that this coincides with Ramadan being a time for giving back through its #KongsiRezeki campaign as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

“As part of our commitment to positively touch lives in the community, we are pleased to distribute these care packages to the public during this holy month of Ramadan.

“We hope that with this small gesture, we can also raise awareness on the importance of good hygiene practices and encourage all to keep safe during these trying times.

“This initiative is part of Hartalega’s ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts that aim to foster a culture of giving, as well as to embrace the company’s values of enriching lives,” he added.
