MUKAH: A total of 174 participants from Brunei and Malaysia participated in the 2019 Jamboree Fun Ride at the 2019 Kaul Mukah Festival here.
Present to hand over medals to the cyclists were Tellian and Balingian assemblymen Yussibnosh Balo and Abdul Yakub Arbi respectively.
The 50km fun ride was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Kelab Basikal Santai Mukah, Lea Sport Centre and Bank Rakyat.
According to Kelab Basikal Santai Mukah president Jamil Osman, the participants were from Brunei, Mukah, Bintulu, Selangau, Sarikei, Miri, Sibu and Kuching.
During the programme, Mohammad Jamaludin Ago was announced as the lucky draw grand prize winner and took home a Volcano bicycle worth RM2,000.
Also present were Mukah Resident Hamdiah Bakir, Mukah District Officer Safrie Saili, and Mukah Youth and Sports officer Mahathir Muhadahari.
