KUCHING: A charity drive is inviting needy folk to come to Boulevard Shopping Mall on Oct 13 to receive their gifts.

A total of 180 packages of basic necessities will be donated to those who qualify.

The programme is being organised by the Hockien Kuching Association and will be receiving their potential recipients 9am to 2pm on that day.

“We invite those in need to come and pick up basic the essentials like rice, cooking oil, sugar and many more during the day,” said Hockien Youth Association chairman Tan Teck Ming.

“This programme is the annual activity of the Hockien Kuching Association, and the items are sponsored by members of the association,” he added.
