SIBU: About 200 people are expected to attend the Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) Cultural Workshop to be held at RH Hotel here on 29 July.
Speaking at a press conference held at Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) meeting room yesterday, SMC Deputy Chairman, Rogayah Jemain said that they are targeting about 200 people comprising teachers and students to attend the workshop.
“Speakers for the workshop are mainly from foreign troupes namely from China, Indonesia and West Malaysia.
“The workshop is mostly about culture and dances where the participants can learn and share knowledge with the speakers,” she explained.
Rogayah also encouraged those interested to attend the workshop as it is open to members of the public.
She added that there is no fee charged for the workshop.
