200 frontliners vaccinated at Lanang Health Clinic

SIBU: Over 200 frontliners here were successfully vaccinated at the Lanang Health Clinic on Sunday (Feb 28).

Sibu Division Family Health Officer, Dr Debbura Peak Ngaban, who was assigned to coordinate vaccinations at the clinic, said about 80 staff of the Health Ministry (MOH) received their vaccinations while 162 persons from other government agencies were vaccinated in the afternoon.

“We managed to vaccinate 36 people in one hour and tomorrow, we plan to increase that number to 48 people in one hour,” she said.

Dr Debbura said her party would continue to speed up their vaccination services by having more staff on duty.

She revealed that 1,074 vaccine doses were received by the Lanang Health Clinic on Saturday (Feb 27).

On those to be vaccinated, she said it would be a mixture of KKM and non-KKM frontliners.
