KUCHING: Persatuan Muaythai Sarawak presented 200 food packages for iftar to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) as well as police and army personnel on duty for roadblocks.

Its president Jumaat Ibrahim stated that the humble contribution was handed over to Pusat Gerakan Operasi (PGO) in Jalan Setia Raja and four other fire stations in Petrajaya, Batu Lintang, Tabuan and Padungan.

“We also did not forget to present some packages to police and army personnel on duty for roadblocks during the movement control order (MCO) period.

“Hopefully this small contribution will help them to enjoy their iftar (breaking of fast),” he said in a statement Saturday.

The packages include bubur lambuk, kurma and drinks. The distribution was done in collaboration with the Sarawak Press Photographer Association.
