SIBU: About 2,000 guests attended the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Nangka Hari Raya open house at the Sibu Islamic Complex here, last night (April 14).
Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee and wife Datin Dr Haniza Zainal Abidin played hosts.
Guests enjoyed a variety of dishes, including Laksa Sarawak, grilled chicken, lemang, satay and gula apong ice cream.
The Sibu Busker Band was in attendance.
Notable guests included federal Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, who also serves as Dudong assemblyman and political secretary to the Premier of Sarawak Sayed Azmee Wan Junaidi.
Also present were Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) deputy chairman Mohammed Abdullah Izkandar Roseley, councillor Kelvin Lau, and penghulu Wong Ung.
