201 take part in blood donation drive

SRI AMAN: A total of 201 people comprising police personnel, civil servants and members of the public took part in a blood donation drive held at Seri Simanggang Hotel here yesterday.

The drive which began from 8.00am until 3.00pm was held in conjunction with 210th Police Day celebration.

From that figure, there were 145 successful donors and they were given a 5kg pack of rice, drinks and a brochure of the programme each.

Sri Aman District Police chief, DSP Othman Sulaiman presented certificates of appreciation to the sponsors and individuals for supporting the drive.
