KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday received two courtesy calls at Astana Negeri in Kuching. The first call was from Tribute to P. Ramlee ‘Tiru Macam Saya’ Committee led by the Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak Arts Council of the Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Sharkawi Amit.
Such call was to invite Tun Taib to grace the concert Tribute to P. Ramlee “Tiru Macam Saya” organised by the Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Ministry on collaboration with Miri Resident’s Office to be held on Saturday 5 May 2018 at a leading hotel in Miri city.
Also present were Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and ministry’s Permanent Secretary Hii Chang Kee. Thereafter Tun Taib received a courtesy call by Agrobank delegation led by its Chairman Tan Sri Mohamad Zabidi Zainal.
