MUKAH: Some 23 firefighters here were promoted for their excellent service.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) assistant senior superintendent Alimat Sam who represented Zone 4 Sibu congratulated the recipients for their achievement.
“Be thankful for your promotion,” he said when officiating at the event at Mukah fire station here yesterday.
Mukah station head Azman Hanafi in his welcoming speech, said the promotion was not only a sense of pride for the recipients, but to also show the department’s trust in them along with bigger responsibilities that need to be shouldered.
“Thus, you have to serve with professionalism integrity. Do not ever compromise with integrity and, God willing, you will succeed,” he said.
