KUCHING: A total 24 participants of the Certified AdminPro in Management (CAP) graduated from the programme yesterday held at Pullman Hotel, here.

 The certificate will certify each of them as a Competent Administrative Professional and the programme is the first of its kind ever held in Malaysia.

 The 2 + 1 day programme had its participants involved in management modules that included Managing Personal Work Priorities and Focus Management, Generation Ideas through Organised Creativeness, Cultivating Leadership Skills, EQ Management for Success, Solution-Focused Communication Skills, Conflict Management Skills and Facilitation of Continuous Improvement 

The programme was held as collaboration between MRS Management Sdn Bhd and Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus.

 Present to handover the graduation certificate were CEO of MRS Management Sdn Bhd, Kristine Liew and Deputy Vice-Chancellor who is also CEO of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus Professor Janet Gregory.

 In Kristine’s speech, she said that aside from Kuchingites, there are also participants coming from Sabah and Bintulu.

“Our second intake will commence on 12 to 13 July and also on 11 August. Registration is already open and is limited to 35 participants per intake.

 “We will hold this programme in other urban ccntres of the state as well in the future,” said Kristine.

 Meanwhile, Janet kept her speech short and hoped that the graduates would be able to use the knowledge and skills they garnered from the programme to add value to their respective organisations.  

At the same time, there were 170 delegates who attended the Annual National Conference on Administrative Professional (NCAP) 2017 which was themed ‘Keep Calm and Embrace Change’.
