In a statement, the programme is a two-and-a-half day online bootcamp that students can participate in while staying completely indoors.

As schools observe social distancing and preventive measures, Tegas is partnering with Reactor School Singapore (Reactor) to introduce a completely immersive digital experience to impart entrepreneurial skills for students taking classes from home.

Tegas chairman Datuk Len Talif Salleh said the programme was in line with the state government’s mission to promote digital innovation and entrepreneurship in the state.

“I would like to thank all the schools and teachers for promoting this first of its kind virtual entrepreneurship bootcamp in their respective schools, and encouraging their students to participate in it.

“We believe in investing and building our Sarawakian talents to drive growth for our state,” added Len, who is also Assistant Urban Planning, Land Administrative and Environment Minister.

The bootcamp will be conducted in three batches from March 3 to 19 and there will be a Virtual Demo Day at the end of the bootcamp, where students pitch their prototype around the selected theme.
