JULAU: A total of 252 senior citizens received the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine at the Julau Community Hall vaccination centre here on Tuesday (May 18).

Julau District Officer and director of the Julau District Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF), Khalid Andong, urged the people of Julau to always think positively and to welcome the government’s call to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.

He said this was to achieve herd immunity in efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19 in Sarawak and the rest of Malaysia as a whole.

“I hope that individuals who have not registered to be recipients of the Covid-19 vaccine yet will register through the MySejahtera application or at the website www.vaksincovid.gov.my.

“They can also register offline by visiting the District Office or the closest Health Clinic,” he said.
