27 SOP violators in Bintulu fined

BINTULU: A total of 27 people here were compounded for violating the movement control order standard operating procedures (SOPs) recently.

Bintulu police chief Supt Zulkipli Suhaili said among the offences committed were going out for no valid reasons after 8pm (13), not wearing face masks (3) and not registering personal details via the MySejahtera app or manual book (11).

“The violators are aged between 19 and 63 years old,” he said.

Zulkipli said all the compounds were issued under the Emergency (Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021.
