KUCHING: A double-storey house was razed in a fire on Friday and has left 28 people from four families homeless.
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, a distress call on the incident at Kampung Semerah Padi here was received around 1pm.
A team of firefighters from Petra Jaya and Padungan fire stations were despatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the 60×30 square feet house was 80 per cent destroyed.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
