28 Sarawak Tourist Guides Association members visit MPP

KUCHING: Twenty-eight members of Sarawak Tourist Guides Association (SKTGA) led by its honorary secretary Edward Lim Ghim Ang visited Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) last Monday.

At the council, they were briefed by head of the Community Development and Corporate Division Ng Siang Wei on the tourism attractions in Padawan.

After the briefing, they proceeded to visit MPP’s Pitcher Plant Garden located about 0.5 kilometre from the council office.

The council chairman Lo Khere Chiang, in his welcoming remarks, thanked Edwin and his association members for their visit.

“It is my honour and pleasure to welcome you all to MPP. I promise to assist you to the best of my ability to ensure all the tourism products in the Padawan areas can be showcased overseas. That is my obligation and commitment to promote Padawan to everyone and the world.” he said.

Also present were Padawan Municipal Council deputy chairman Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim, acting deputy council secretary Ita Ling, and the senior staff of MPP.
