30 attend cultural council meeting

SAMARAHAN: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) hosted the 102nd University Cultural Council Meeting-Universiti Malaysia (MAKUM) recently.

A statement from the university said the meeting held at the Senate Hall was attended by 30 delegates. It was chaired by MAKUM secretariat chairman for 2022/2023 Professor Dr Arifin Abdu.

After the meeting, the delegates attended a welcoming dinner, which was graced by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni) Professor Dr Kamarudin Kana, and the university’s Student Services Centre director Azeemah Ahmed.

Kamarudin expressed his appreciation for UNIMAS being chosen as the host of the first MAKUM meeting.
