KUCHING: Police arrested 30 people and seized various drugs weighing 44.32g in a week-long operation here.
Kuching OCPD ACP Ahsmon Bajah disclosed that the operation was conducted by the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division from July 11-17.
“A total of 29 men and a woman aged between 21 and 36 were rounded up for alleged involvement in substance abuse.
“In addition, we also seized 31.19g of syabu, 5.95g of ketamine, 7.18g of marijuana and four Erimin 5 pills.”
He said three of the individuals would be investigated under Section 39A(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, three under Section 12(2) and 22 under Section 15(1)(a).
ACP Ahsmon also pointed out that six of the individuals had several drug priors.
