BINTULU: National Consumer Foundation Malaysia (YPNM) Bintulu Branch distributed special assistance for ‘Back to School’ to 30 students from low-income families (B40) of SJK Chung Hua Bintulu today.

Chairman of YPNM Bintulu Branch, Capt Dr Simon Hong presented the special aid in the form of writing equipment at the brief ceremony, which was also attended by the special officer to the Bintulu MP, Steven Kong Kai Seng; the special officer to the Tanjong Batu assemblyman, Angellie Stephen Raja and the branch head of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Bintulu, Al Redzamani Abdul Razak.

Hong hoped that the assistance could somewhat help alleviate the burden of parents in obtaining school equipment for the target group.
