KUCHING: A total of 300 mangrove stems were discovered and seized by Sarawak Forestry Department (SFD) on Monday.
According to a spokesperson, SFD conducted an inspection on a premises at Batu 6 1/2, Jalan Matang around 3.40pm.
The mangrove stems were found hidden at the back of the premises.
The premises owner did not have any legal permit for the possession of the mangrove stems.
