Herman thanked Mordi for his support in providing funds for the club to host this year’s event.

He also thanked Henry who has been supportive of BMC since its inception and who also helped to initiate the formation of the club. Henry was also instrumental in finding a bigger place for the club to train at Tondong Bazaar in the form of an old government quarters building that is being refurbished.

From its humble beginnings, BMC has grown from strength to strength under Herman’s watchful eye and the guidance of Sarawak Muaythai Association and Kuching Muaythai Association.

BMC will be sending seven young fighters to represent Bau in the championship, including two female
