The programme organised by Padawan IPD Integrity and Standard Compliance Division, was held at Dewan Sekolah Latihan Asas Kota Sentosa from 8am to 12pm.

It was facilitated by Syarie judge Idris Abdul Kadir from the Sarawak Syariah Judiciary Department, Kota Samarahan Division.

Padawan district police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan was given the honour to officiate at the seminar that was aimed at providing knowledge on the understanding of the law to guide and teach religious knowledge, especially to members of the police force.  This was for it to be always preserved as a means of practising integrity, maintaining harmony and family ties and at the same time setting a good example to others.

Its objectives also included providing knowledge to participants about Syariah law enshrined in the Al-Quran and Hadis, distinguishing between Syariah law and civil law as well as providing evidence and action. Besides these, there were also suggestions on the forms of punishment through pre-determined legal court proceedings.
