
KANOWIT: Thirty-five Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) projects will be implemented in Ngemah state constituency this year.
According to its assemblyman Anyi Jana, the Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) will also build nine new substations to increase internet access rates and better telephone networks here.
He said this during the Nanga Tada Resettlement Scheme (SPS) Profile Book Launching Ceremony here on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Kanowit MP Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang who was also present at the ceremony, said many development projects had been planned for Kanowit.
“Attention has been given to the development issues in SPS Nanga Jagau, Nanga Ngungun and Nanga Tada,” he added while congratulating the Nanga Tada Main Committee for publishing the SPS Nanga Tada Profile Book.
