SIBU: 350 packets of ‘bubur lambuk’ have been distributed to the people here at a distribution programme held at Kampung Hilir here yesterday.
The program was organised by the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Datu Lama in collaboration with Surau Darul Abrar.
A Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) councillor Ibrahim Laili said the programme was an annual activity of JKKK Kampung Datu Lama in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.
“The fund for the programme is from part of the Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant given to Nangka Service Centre,” said the councilor who is representing Assistant Minister of Education and Technological Research Dr Annuar Rapaee at the function.
JKKK Kampung Datu Lama chairman Rajli Abdul Rahim was among those present.
