Minister of Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing Datuk Fatimah Abdullah disclosed this to reporters after presiding over a meeting on poverty eradication at Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya, yesterday.

“Among the cases are outdated information in eKasih system, deaths, and others, therefore, I urge those applicants to update their info to State Development Office (SDO) to ease us to give the assistance.

“On the hardcore poor, this year we manage to reduce 60 per cent as the lock figure is 27,769,” she said, adding that there will be 25 agencies giving assistance in support of the eradication of poverty programme.
