KUCHING: A total of 362 Form 4 and Form 5 students of SMK Seri Setia were advised to take necessary actions in preparing for the SPM examination at a motivation programme held at the school here yesterday.

UiTM Sarawak Alumni Association (Mitsa) president Datuk Abdul Wahab Aziz, who was represented by his deputy Wan Idris Wan Ibrahim, reminded students to open their minds and apply effective study techniques.

“Studying for your exams does not necessarily have to be stressful.

“I hope students would gain many helpful tips to answer exam questions” he said in his speech before officiating at the closing ceremony of Student Village and UiTM Sarawak Mission Academy Programme (program Perkampungan Pelajar dan Misi Akademi UiTM Sarawak) at SMK Sri Setia yesterday.

In line with the nation-building agenda, he also said that learning the history subject was crucial as this would help to inculcate the spirit of patriotism among secondary school students.
