SIBU: SMK Methodist here continues to excel in the 2018 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
Forty students scored straight As when results were announced today.
The school’s assistant principal Hii Chik Hua was delighted, saying: “With 40 students scoring all As this makes SMK Methodist having the highest number this time.”
“In 2018, the cumulative grade point average for SMK Methodist was 2.93 compared to 2.84 in 2017,” she added when interviewed by the media.
Michelle Wong Hui Hui became the best student of SMK Methodist with 10A+, 1A and 1A-.
Four students who scored 9A+ were Tan Kwan Zhen, Paul Tang Ting Guan, Louis Sim Jian Liang and Carina Loi Jing. – Sarawak Voice
