SIBU: Forty contractors and potential ones attended a 4-day business management course organised by CIDB at Premier Hotel here which concluded on Friday.

According to managing director of M-Acorp Entreprise, Mashan Haji Ahmad Rais, the course attracted contractors and potential ones from Sibu, Sarikei, Pakan, Matu, Daro and Tatau Districts.

“This course in one of the ways for every contractor to collect ‘Contractor Continuous Development (CCD)’ points since 2010.

“Besides, it is also aimed at enhancing the knowledge, professionalism and confidence and competency of the public on local contractors,” Mashan said.

The participants said through the course, they were exposed to subjects such as business networking, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Market Information, Company’s Profile, Analysis and Reports, Establishing Business Contacts and Basic Accounting.

Mashan who is also a facilitator of the course added that the course will help the participants to understand the importance of networking among business people, knowledge in ICT, evaluating their business and directions to take and many more.

“A registration fee of RM424 is charged on each course participant but those who hold the green CIDB card is charged RM212.
