44-year-old lands RM32 million from Supreme Toto jackpot, says will continue working regardless

Date:

KUCHING: A 44-year-old man became an instant millionaire, bagging RM32 million from the Supreme Toto 6/58 jackpot last week.

He said winning the fortune was unexpected being that he played the game just for the sake of playing.

“I always bet on Toto 4D Jackpot and Supreme Toto 6/58 games just for the sake of playing and I have never expected that I could also become a jackpot winner one day.

“The winning numbers – 1, 3, 9, 11, 26 & 47 are some of my favorite numbers that I often bet on. My wife and I are very happy that our dream has come true.

“Although I am now qualified for early retirement, I will not allow myself to be slackened therefore I will continue to work in Singapore,” he said. The lucky winner works as a supervisor for a trading company but lives in Johor.

Sports Toto Malaysia (STM) Sdn Bhd in a statement today said the winner would use the winnings to pay off his housing loan, donate to charitable organisations, buy some properties as well as set up an education fund for his children.

“He bought a System 8 ticket which won him a whopping RM31,949,992.85 and an additional RM83,856 as a System Play bonus”.
