MIRI: In an attempt to avoid colliding with a car, a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle turned turtle at Jalan Brighton here on Monday (Oct 12).
According to sources, the 4WD was on its way to the city centre before the accident occurred around 4pm.
The driver was said to have tried avoiding crashing into a Kelisa car which suddenly made a U-turn.
However, due to the sudden incident, the impact caused the victim’s car to crash into the side of the road and turned turtle.
An electric pole at the scene was also reported to have collapsed as a result of the crash.
Both drivers did not sustain any injuries, but were advised to go to hospital for further examination.
