500 packs of iftar food given to polytechnic students

KUCHING: The Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation (YaPEIM) Sarawak distributed 500 packs of iftar (breaking of fast) food to Kuching Sarawak Polytechnic (PKS) students here on Friday (April 29).

The distribution was in conjunction with the YaPEIM Qaseh Ramadan Inspiration Programme.

The food was handed over by YaPEIM Sarawak Community chief coordinator Siti Aminah Dolah@Abdullah and attended by PKS director Hikmatullah Hajid Ahmad Khan.

According to a PKS statement, the Qaseh Ramadan Inspiration Programme had been an annual event for YaPEIM since 2016.

Also present were PKS deputy director (academic) Samsudin Mohd Saleh and PKS student affairs department head Mahathir Mohamad Kamin.
