MUKAH: Sixty cyclists took part in SMK Mukah’s Run For Diversity 2019 here yesterday.

Cycling was added as an additional category, adding variety to the run as it was rarely organised together with the main event.

Most of the participants were from the Santai Mukah Bicycle Club led by chairman ASP (Rtd) Jamil Othman, who was thankful to the organiser for adding cycling as part of the event — the distance was 30km.

Meanwhile, about 200 took part in the run which was divided into three categories — A (senior, 5km), B (junior, 3km) and C (disabled, 1km).

Mukah District officer Shafrie Saili officiated at the event which was also attended by school principal Mohammad Shazwan Seun and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) chairman Hamdan Mahmud.
