MUKAH: Some 70 people took part in the Malaysia Day 2020 fun ride here last Wednesday.
The fun ride was organised by Kelab Berbasikal Santai Mukah (KBSM) in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration.
Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi was present to flag off the event at the Mukah Kaul site, Kala Dana beach here.
KBSM chairman ASP (Rtd) Jamil Othman said the routes covered nearby areas within this district with a total distance of over 30 kilometres.
“It is just a fun ride to commemorate Malaysia Day 2020 celebration,” he said last Wednesday.
According to him, last Aug 31, the club organised a Merdeka fun ride in conjunction with the National Day celebration, as well as a Sarawak Day fun ride for the Sarawak Day celebration on July 22.
