KUCHING: Out of the 1,140 statefunded projects under the 11th Malaysia Plan (11MP), 702 are physical projects while 438 are in the form of programmes and investments. This was revealed by Second Minister of Finance, Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh in his winding-up speech during the State Legislative Assembly sitting here on Thursday.
“As at 30 September, 2017, out of the 702 physical projects, 71 have been completed while the remaining 631 are still in the various stages of implementation,” he said. As for the performance of federalfunded projects under the Second Rolling Plan (RP2) of 11MP, Wong said that 578 projects have been approved for implementation.
“As of 30 September, 2017, 72 projects have been completed and the remaining 506 are still in the various stages of implementation.
“Currently, a total of 1,718 state and federal-funded projects are being implemented in Sarawak by the various ministries, departments and agencies. “These programmes and projects must be implemented and completed in a timely manner and within budget, without compromising on quality and safety standard,” he said.
