MARUDI: 76 pupils of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Buri Bakong yesterday received school bags from Yayasan Wawasan Mara.

Baram Member of Parliament, Anyi Ngau graced the presentation ceremony which was also attended by headmaster, Stephen James Noah at the school.

At the event, Anyi also handed over Minor Rural Project (MRP) contributions totalling RM2000 to be distributed to all the 76 pupils.

He approved a contribution of RM5,000 for the school’s Parent- Teacher Association (PTA) to set up a cottage which the pupils could use for reading. Also present at the ceremony was TR. Nora Sg. Buri Bakong.
